La Barra del Canut

Our bar specialises in seafood, fresh fish and seasonal food fresh from the market. It is a convenient place to eat at any time of the day, and is characterised by its peculiar wooden décor and its saltwater tanks of live spiny lobster, lobster and crab.

It is many years now since the Canut family first made the popular phrase “parada i fonda“ (stop and eat) its own, hence the name casa, or home, rather than hotel. It has always been “a restaurant with rooms“. We also place a particular emphasis on confectionery, using fresh fruit as a base and producing a wide range of artistically presented fine chocolates. We specialise in market-fresh cuisine, and fresh fish and live seafood from our saltwater tanks.

Here each day you can find our Seasonal Menu, Market-fresh Cuisine, Tasting Menu, Fish and Seafood Menu, and Daily Set Menu. A creative and constantly evolving cuisine, but which also includes classic dishes of deserved prestige.

We also have the specialised culinary knowledge to prepare fresh fish and live seafood from our saltwater tanks, particularly for fish dishes prepared with salt and seafood rice, noodle and casserole dishes. In addition, our wine cellar boasts a variety of equisite Reserva wines of which we are extremely proud.
